About the Event
Kundalini & Sound Meditation: A Threshold Practice for the Summer Solstice
The summer solstice is the longest day of the year. A peak. The outward, expansive half of the cycle reaches its fullest expression, and then, quietly, the turn begins. The light that has been growing since December starts its long return toward the dark. Before we cross that threshold, there is real value in pausing. In letting the body settle, the breath deepen, and the attention gather itself back into the present moment.
Join us at the Historic Marine on St. Croix Village Hall for an evening of Kundalini and Sound Meditation in preparation for the solstice. This is a practice of coming back into coherence with the body, with the breath, with the rhythms of the season, and with the company of others who have chosen to slow down and mark the turning with intention.
